Ambrose Bed & Breakfast Accommodations
Located in beautiful southwest Michigan, Ambrose Bed & Breakfast offers a unique modern alternative to a typical chain hotel or that extra pampering that you don’t get at an airbnb. Spend your getaway in one of our five guestrooms, all of which offer king size beds with ultra comfortable Rested Pillow mattresses, fireplaces, a private bathroom, and more. Some of the rooms feature jetted tubs and private patios. Our rates include a delicious home cooked breakfast served each morning from 8:30-9:30am.
The Davenport Suite
The Davenport is our largest suite, perfect for that special occasion. The extra large bedroom includes a centerpiece gas fireplace with remote and comfortable sitting area – you may decide to never leave your room!
The Davenport is named after the innkeepers’ college town of Davenport, Iowa, home to the St. Ambrose University Fighting Bees.

The St. Joseph Suite
The large St. Joseph suite makes you feel like you’re staying at a lakeside beach retreat. Relax in the king size bed and enjoy a quiet fire or lounge on your private patio or jetted tub with a good book – no sand in your toes!
The St. Joseph is named after the wonderful lakefront town just a few miles from Baroda where the innkeepers lived when they first moved to Michigan more than 25 years ago.

The Stevensville Suite
The large Stevensville suite sports a modern/industrial theme with wood and reclaimed metal accents used throughout. King size bed, electric fireplace and private patio are just some of the comforts you’ll enjoy.
The Stevensville is named after the town to our north where the innkeepers raised two kids and of course Gracie and Henry.

The Erie Suite
The Erie suite is modern farmhouse beautiful with all the extras including king size bed and a beautifully appointed private bathroom with a soaking tub.
The Erie is named after a small farm community in Illinois where the innkeepers grew up–lots of great family and friend memories made “back home.”

The Baroda Suite
The Baroda suite surrounds you in natural colors and textures — a peaceful oasis perfect for any getaway.
The Baroda is named after our current hometown. We are grateful to be in Baroda and living among amazing new neighbors and friends. It’s a good thing the innkeepers didn’t move around more often or we’d be out of bedroom names.

Room Rates
Room rates range from $190 – $400 nightly plus tax, based on double occupancy. All rates are subject to state (6%) and local (4%) tax. Prices are subject to change without notice except for reservations secured by a deposit.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is between 3:00 - 6:00 pm unless prior arrangements are made with the innkeeper. Check-out is 11:00 am.
Pets
This is Henry and Gracie’s home too so we unfortunately cannot accommodate guest pets at our inn. While you may see them occasionally during your stay, our babies are confined to our personal living quarters and the outdoor areas of the property; they are not allowed into the guest rooms at any time. We are happy to help arrange for nearby pet sitting/boarding during your stay.
